Home Support Needs Assessment (HSNA)

Dr Susan Darzins is a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University. She is dedicated to improving health care services through education and research.

 

With over 35 years in occupational therapy and epidemiology, Susan brings experience, practical strategies and evidence-based approaches to measuring and communicating the benefits of occupational therapy. She collaborates with research partners and clinicians focused on integrating relevant and valid outcome measures into routine practice. She has a strong background in tertiary education and clinically based research and has mentored many emerging and experienced occupational therapists.

Susan is author of the Home Support Needs Assessment (HSNA) and contributed significantly to validation research of the Personal Care-Participation Assessment and Resource Tool (PC-PART) during her doctoral studies.
